Pool Table Room
Just because you finally put aside the cash to get yourself the pool table you've always wanted doesn't mean you should order it just now.
Those large tables require enough room to allow players around it to play comfortably regardless of where the balls find themselves.
Get rid of extra furniture and hang that TV up on the wall because you'll need all the space you can use.

Many people think that there is only one pool table size but in fact there are four standard sizes that you can get for your own game room. Namely, the four sizes are the 7 foot, 8 foot, 8.5 foot and 9 foot pool table. Choosing a table size would depend on your budget and room space. Each table size has its own specific benefits that you must take in consideration upon buying a pool table.
The 7 foot pool table is the smallest among the four table sizes. They are a lot smaller than the usual pool tables we see in bars and hubs. People choose to buy this pool table size because of three reasons. First, is if you have a small budget. This pool table is not only the smallest but also the cheapest. So, if budget is the problem this would be the best choice. Another reason would be if you have a small room and you can’t fit a large table in it. Having a small table in a small room would give you enough space to play pool without any obstructions. Lastly, if the players are kids this size would be much easier for them to play with.
The 8 foot pool is the most popular size among the four standard sizes. This is what you usually find in most homes and bars because it is very affordable and easy to install. It’s not too small so it gives a little more challenge for the players. It’s not too big that you’d find a hard time finding a place for it especially if you don’t have a really big space. Most casual pool players choose this pool table size because it is both challenging and fun.
The 8.5 foot pool is the most unpopular pool table size because it is just in between the 8 foot and 9 foot pool tables. People buy this size when they want a pool table that is bigger than an 8 foot pool but doesn’t really have the budget for a 9 foot pool table.
Lastly, the 9 foot pool table is used by the professional players and it is used during billiard tournaments. It is the largest pool table size among the four. Its size gives a challenge for any player. When playing in a 9 foot pool you’d find it a lot easier when you switch to a smaller pool table.
